Lately I’ve been having debates with friends about the quality of DC Comics versus Marvel Comics. Although Marvel has had better fortune in the movie circuit (with the exception of DC’s Batman), DC Comics characters pretty much paved the way: Superman, Batman, The Flash, The Green Lantern, etc. Plus, DC villains are wayyy better. But I suppose that’s merely opinion and personal preference. I don’t know.
My question to you readers is, WHERE DO YOU STAND ON THIS SUBJECT?
Lemme know! Hopefully I’ll get enough responses to make this an ongoing thing for a while. =D
PEACE, LOVE, & ROCK ‘N ROLL

The All-American Rejects (one of my favorite bands since I heard their very first album, the EP Same Girl New Songs) are working on their third LP, their fourth album total (It seems to me that Same Girl doesn’t really count to most people and isn’t considered). It sounds like they’re going to push the envelope a little with their content which, based on the article I’ve linked to below, sounds like it’s going to be a little more developed and mature. I am sooooo excited. Can’t wait. Everyone should check it out.

Hello all! I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been really busy with softball and music stuffs. Well, I’m going to the midnight premier of the new Batman movie and I am soooo excited. I can’t wait. I’m somewhat of a movie buff. I absolutely love the Batman series. From what I could tell from the trailers, the movie’s gona be amazing. Well, even if it’s not, I’ll probably like it anyway. I have this thing where I can find the good in pretty much any movie I see (yes, that even includes Flash Gordon). I can’t wait to see Heath Ledger’s performance. He was (and still is) one of my favorite actors and I really think this role will be a testament to just how much skill he had. Ill probably put up an informal review or something after I see it so check back in a few days. =]
Peace, love, and rock & roll.

I’m getting my hair cut and dyed today!! When I get back, I plan on uploading lots of pictures that I’ve taken. I figure it’s time to get my work out there and see if I’m really any good at this or if I should start looking to do something else while I still have time to make that decision. Later.

Ok sorry, that’s the worst title ever! This is just a little background post to catch you guys up. I plan to expand the interests of my posts as I go on. Here we go…
So, summer, is… a lot more hectic than I expected. I was only supposed to be playing summer ball for my tournament softball team, but my high school team joined a league last minute. As a result, I’m now playing softball pretty much five days a week (only two less than during the spring season that almost drove me crazy). The games are at an awkward time at night too so it doesn’t leave much room for day trips to the beach and such. Oh well, it’s paying off, the varsity coach is getting a good look at my skills and she’s pretty pleased. *Fingers crossed* I may be looking at the starting catcher spot for next season ( I hope I hope I hope) =D
Anywho, when I’m not playing softball, I’m at marching band practice (Yes, I am a major band geek). I found out yesterday that I got drum major and I’m very excited. That’s a good way to round out my senior year.
Tomorrow, I’m getting part of my hair dyed red (team spirit?) haha. I’m so excited. I’ve never been allowed to do that before. =D
Pretty uninteresting for a first post but, eh, this probably will be the most not-so-interesting part of my blogging experience. Stay tuned for looks at my photography, music room life lessons, activities, interests, and more.
’til next time,
Persephone
